ABSTRACT
Objetivo: descrever os fatores associados à ideação suicida na adolescência. Metodologia: trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa da literatura, com caráter descritivo, realizado no período de setembro e outubro de 2018, utilizando as seguintes bases de dados: Literatura Latino-Americana em Ciências de Saúde (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) e Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), incluindo artigos com texto completo disponível eletronicamente e de forma gratuita, redigidos no idioma português, publicados no recorte temporal entre 2008 a 2018. Resultados: os fatores associados à ideação suicida encontrados nos estudos incluem características sociodemográficas, transtornos psiquiátricos, características pessoais e familiares, e problemas comportamentais do próprio adolescente e dos amigos. Conclusão: conclui-se que a questão do suicídio é uma problemática de saúde pública e que necessita de abordagens específicas para a prevenção e de atenção relativa à ideação suicida, de modo a evitar a consumação do ato.
Objective: to describe the factors associated with suicidal ideation in adolescence. Methodology: this is an integrative review of the literature, with a descriptive character, carried out in September and October 2018, using the following databases: Latin American Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and Portal of Periodicals of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (CAPES), including full text articles available electronically and free of charge, written in the Portuguese language, published in the time frame between 2008 and 2018. Results: factors associated with suicidal ideation found in the studies include sociodemographic characteristics, psychiatric disorders, personal and family characteristics, and behavioral problems of the adolescent himself and his friends. Conclusion: it is concluded that the question of suicide is a problem of public health and that it needs specific approaches for prevention and attention related to suicidal ideation, in order to avoid consummation of the act.
